Groww

Connect Groww using approved API key and secret (no OAuth popup).

How to get here

Navigation: Brokers › Add new Account › Groww

Prerequisites (Groww Cloud)​

  • Active Groww trading account with API access enabled
  • Open Groww Cloud / API Keys in your Groww account and create an API key pair
  • Wait for API key approval from Groww (unapproved keys fail token generation)
  • Copy API Key and API Secret — secret is shown once at creation
  • No OAuth redirect URL is required for Groww

If token generation fails with an approval message, complete approval in Groww Cloud before retrying in ATPAlgo.

Step 1 — Open Add Broker and name the account​

  1. Go to Brokers › Add new Account (open Add Broker).
  2. Enter a display name and click Next.

Step 2 — Select Groww​

  1. Select Groww from the broker list.
  2. Click Next.

Step 3 — Enter API credentials and verify token​

  1. Enter API Key and API Secret.
  2. Click Next — ATPAlgo generates today's access token and tests the connection.
  3. If verification fails, fix the key in Groww Cloud and retry.

Step 4 — Finish setup​

  1. On Complete Setup, click Finish Setup.
  2. On My Brokers, use Connect or refresh balance when needed (token refresh uses stored credentials).
